Welcome to the Test Drive Meme for Pollere! Reserves will open on Saturday, August 24th at 12PM EST. As a reminder, this is a capped game at 20 players. You must be on Mod Coco’s timeline to play in this game. Below are some prompts to help you get a general feel for the game and its setting, but feel free to come up with whatever you’d like!

Please be sure to refer to the FAQ for setting guidelines and drop any questions you may have there, or contact one of the mods at [plurk.com profile] pollere/PM!

Training
You’ve been given a brand new power, known in this world as a Semblance. You’ve been briefed on what a Semblance is: A physical manifestation of your abilities, mixed with one of your personality traits. Maybe you see the correlation, maybe you don’t. Either way, there are training dummies set up for you to practice on. Burn them down, cut them in half -- they’ll magically put themselves back together and restore themselves back to normal after you’ve given things a go. Of course, there’s always the option to ask one of your fellow Remnants to spar with you, too.

Grimm Hunting
It’s nighttime and the Grimm are awake and active, prowling around either individually or in packs. They’re prowling around the village and the only thing keeping them from pouncing on you and the others are the fireposts set up along the perimeter. Still, you can hear them growling in the distance. It’s unsettling. Maybe you’re content to spend the rest of the night like this...or maybe you want to do something about it.

The choice is yours, Remnant.

Should you choose to hunt some Grimm, whether it be for Grimm bones or so you can sleep a little easier tonight, you'll find that they're relentless in their attacks, swiping and clawing and biting at you with everything they've got. Whether there's one of them or several, it might be unwise to fight them alone.

R&R
There’s a campfire set up for The Remnants, and you’re all settled in for the night, even with Grimm lurking in the background. The fire, at least, wards them away, keeping them at a distance despite their prowling around. Maybe now is a good time to get to know your fellow teammates. How about a campfire story? Or Truth or Dare? Not sure how well your fellow Remnants will take the latter, but hey, it might be worth a go!

Exploration
You venture outside of the small town you’re in after you spot a small cave in the distance. It’s easy to miss, what with the vines hanging over the entrance and evergreen moss growing on the walls. Rumor has it that there’s some sort of treasure inside, and whether it’s greed or curiosity or both, you’re drawn to it. You want to see what has yet to be discovered. It’s a good thing you have a buddy with you to explore, because who knows what lurks inside? Dust? Gold? Or...another Grimm?

Plants. [Mòrag touches her fingers to the bill of her cap, contemplating this news.] I find that unusual, but only in the context of Alrest. There, although a Blade might manipulate plants, we would refer to it under the heading of Earth.

As for myself, I wield fire.

Oh, I see! Earth isn't a power I'm used to working with from back home, to tell you the truth. It's certainly a new experience... Although... if I may ask, what's a Blade?

[Because like, she understands when it comes to weaponry but Haru's getting the sense it's not exactly the same.]

Fire's a wonderful power, though!

I agree. [The sentiment brings a slight smile to her face.] In Alrest, we Drivers resonate with Blades. They give us weapons to wield, and power to fight with. I suppose to understand it, you might imagine your Semblance as being incarnated in a person, rather than being a part of you.
