[So says the tall, darkly dressed woman who's watching the rest of the group slaughter some helpless training dummies. And, to Maleficent, this was beneath what she was normally accustomed to. Training with a bunch of inexperienced children, while she couldn't call upon her incredible array of sorcery? Hmph. Just another thing she despised about coming to this world.]
And I suppose the enemies we are to face will simply stand and let themselves be done away with.
[She smiled and leaned gently on a long staff - not the one she had from home, but something new. A weapon of sorts, the only thing she liked so far.]
They will surely meet their doom.
[Grimm... hunting?] [Fighting up close and personal was just not Maleficent's style. She preferred dealing with things magically, from a safe distance. But the Grimm offered little of that, a shame, really.]
Now, listen at once, vermin. [She said the last word with vile and slammed the end of her staff down before the Beowolf currently stalking her. It was either gauging her up, or genuinely interested in this.] As the commander of Darkness I order you to obey me!
[It looks perplexed, as much as a Grimm could be. Which is to say, it looks like it's winding up for an attack.]
[R&R] [Shock of all shocks, Maleficent isn't a people person. So you're not going to find her sitting at the campfire.
But a little further away, through the bushes and away from the firelight, you'll catch a dark and green shape of a woman, standing in a clearing, looking up at... the moon, it seems.]
[The Grimm aren't that different from the monsters that Lightning is more accustomed to dealing with. Claws and fangs and getting out of the way is the same no matter what you're dealing with, but just standing there and yelling at the things?
That seems like a recipe for disaster. Someone's going to get themselves killed!]
What are you doing?! Fight it!
[Lightning all but bursts out of the trees, both the woman herself and her Semblance; crimson red bolts of lightning slam into the beast's side as she darts around it, drawing its attention away from Maleficent for the moment. It roars, turns on the source of its pain, and its rear is left open. Now would be a good time to do something, lady!]
