[Haru gives that some thought, resting one finger against her cheek.]
Walls that could repair themselves like that would take more resources to build than training dummies, wouldn't they? I imagine that would be a concern... And it's possible that sustaining a wall with a Semblance would be difficult on the person it belonged to... [She pauses, frowning.] And then there's the issue what kinds of these... Grimm that they might be contending with. A wall isn't going to do much good if an enemy can simply fly over it, right? I do suppose there's the possibility of turrets, but those require more resources as well...
[Pause. Blink.]
O-Of course, this is merely speculation on my part! This sort of thing isn't exactly my area of expertise...
[She's used to finding ways to get past walls, not... this.]
[That's the sort of tactical thinking that he's seen from some of his friends like Kurapika, honestly, and while it visibly seems to take some of the wind from his sales, at least Leorio seems used to it now. His temper is still obviously a thing, as the training dummy could attest to... but working in a professional setting has really been tempering his, uh. temper.]
[Shoving his hands into his pockets, he swings back with a sigh.]
Still, there has to be something more long term we can do here. I mean, to me it just sounds like they're putting all their eggs in the god summoning basket, or whatever.
Oh, I don't disagree. This seems... remarkably risky, in my opinion.
[She closes her eyes.]
Given the risk of things backfiring here, I imagine this is a move made more out of desperation than anything... I don't think it would be remiss of us to look for a long-term solution as well.
Tch, I don't suppose you know anything about animals then, huh?
[He rubs the back of his neck, lips sticking out.]
If only Gon would be here... [Oh, right-] He's a kid I know, a best friend, and he's grown up running around mountains and stuff. I've never seen any other wild child.
The real trick would be getting him to not just run off and get into trouble. Tch, that's all my friends when I think about it... [He reaches up, hand ruffling through his hair with violent exasperation.] Jeez! Jerks have no self preservation.
[Says the man who jumped onto an interdimensional world saving mission.]
Oh, right- I'm Leorio Paradinight, by the way. [He raises one lanky ass leg up to testingly kick the dummy again.] Med student.
Oh, do yours jump off ships in the middle of the ocean during a raging storm too?
[Honesty, Gon and Killua and Kurapika have made their own individual bad choices to fill up a plate, but that one is at least the more light hearted bad decision out of all the bad decisions they've all made together and apart.]
[That Leorio has also made plenty of bad decisions of his own is something he will strategically not mention. Listen. It's not about him.]
[Sounds honest enough to him, at any rate, and it would figure he's not the only guy in, what... all the universes to deal with a bunch of jackasses with no common sense.]
So, like, statistically speaking, we're probably going to get that type in this group, huh?
[A grin starts to spread across Leorio's face in a way that only makes him look ten times the grifter he already naturally looks like because of his shades.]
I'll put five thousand jenny on you if you do the same for me. We could rig it in our favor. Get rich while we're busy risking our lives.

You know. In a good way. [Usually.]

[She listens as Leorio talks about Gon, smiling a bit.]
It does sound like he'd be quite helpful to have around here.

[That just seems like a Phantom Thief thing, frankly.
... But yes, there is the matter of both of them being here, so, glass houses, stones, etc.]
It's wonderful to meet you. [She smiles gently.] My name's Haru Okumura.

Let's be honest, none of the Phantom Thieves have any place to talk either and that includes Haru]It's more than likely...
